A few words about
What We Do
Our projects
Our organization is involved in numerous projects.
Empathy in Action, Empowering Voices: With unwavering dedication, we champion positive change, offering a helping hand to children from poor families, donating essential food supplies, providing tech literacy, and nurturing support, empowering communities to flourish, one child at a time.
ELIMISHA MTOTO
Purpose: In this initiative, we provide secondary school sponsorships to children in informal settlements, slums, and rural areas. Many families in these regions struggle to afford secondary education, especially in boarding schools.
Impact: We empower bright young minds with the opportunity for quality education, breaking down financial barriers and creating a path to a brighter future.
Access to Education Program:
Objective: Our second program focuses on ensuring that every child has equal access to education. We provide essential items such as uniforms, shoes, and reading and writing materials, enabling students to excel in secondary school.
Outcome: By removing obstacles to education, we enable students to reach their full potential, fostering a generation of confident and successful learners.
Entrepreneurship
INUA DADA
Through Inua Dada, we offer young girls invaluable mentorship, guiding them towards realizing their full potential with inspiration and a supportive environment.
Understanding the challenges they face accessing menstrual hygiene products, which impact education and well-being, Inua Dada provides sanitary towels and menstrual cups to ensure they can attend school and participate in daily activities without hindrance.
At Ubuntu CBO, we firmly believe that investing in girls’ education and well-being is pivotal in building a brighter and more equal future.
Inua Dada stands as our commitment to breaking barriers, fostering confidence, and empowering these young leaders to embrace their dreams fearlessly. Together, we foster a community where every girl flourishes, thrives, and becomes a beacon of hope for generations to come.
We invite you to join us in supporting the Inua Dada programme, becoming an integral part of this life-changing journey.
Your contribution will help transform the lives of these young girls, enabling them to rise above adversity and become empowered, self-assured individuals who can shape a better world for themselves and others.
Together, we can create a positive impact, ensuring every girl’s dreams are nurtured and celebrated.
Food donation to poor and needy families
We conduct food drives to support street children and local families, alleviating hunger and ensuring proper nutrition for those in need. These efforts reflect our commitment to the overall well-being of our community.
At Ubuntu, our programs are driven by a deep sense of community, compassion, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact. Together, we are creating a brighter and more promising future for all.
Haba na Haba Microloan Project:
Goal: Economic empowerment lies at the heart of this project. We provide small start-up capital or business boosts to women and youth who often face challenges securing loans from traditional financial institutions due to stringent requirements.
Impact: Haba na Haba empowers individuals to kick-start or enhance their businesses, promoting self-reliance and economic growth within our community.
Skills Training
Empowerment through Knowledge: Our skills training program includes a state-of-the-art computer training center where we equip community members with digital skills. These skills open doors to employment opportunities and empower young kids to become tech-savvy, preparing them for a digital future.
